ALERT LISTING BY DEPARTMENT

Alert #4001

OVERAGED VEHICLES

Reports all vehicles that meet your criteria (over a certain dollar value, over a certain number of days, and of a certain type - new, used, etc.) Choose from various list formats which includes a "lot report" checklist to assist in taking physical inventories. Start your week off with a list of these "target" vehicles.

Alert #1000

PARTS GP% OUT OF RANGE

Sometimes parts are sold too cheap; whether its because your price matrices are not up to date, or because an employee sold something to a friend. This essential alert tells you as soon as an invoice or RO is issued a part where the profit is outside your target range. If the prices were overridden, the alert also tells you what the part would have sold for if the price had not been changed. Multiple options let you tailor this alert for your operations.

Alert #1002

PARTS COUPON COMPLIANCE

Detects when parts that were eligible for Paccar Parts coupons had no coupon applied, or when they were properly applied.

Use this Alert to:

  • Report your daily coupon sales to Paccar.
  • Detect when employees in your parts department neglect to apply a Paccar coupon.

Alert #1004

HELD ORDERS OPEN TOO LONG

Held Orders are a great feature.  You can allocate parts to a customer and take them out of inventory so they can’t be sold to the wrong person.  But when they’re forgotten about, they can cause both cash flow and customer service issues.

Use this Alert to:

  • Remind parts personnel that there is a potential issue
  • Get the parts billed out
  • Supply your customer with the parts they ordered
  • Keep inventory counts and values accurate

Alert #1007

PARTS PAD

Let's face it. You have to make adjustments to your parts inventory. But did you know that almost anyone can walk up to a terminal and literally write off any parts they want to? Use this Alert to:

  • Detect manual adjustments made to your physical parts inventory that are outside your policies (large dollar values, questionable inventory types- e.g. clothing or electronics)
  • Detect posting errors due to typing or confusion on receipting bulk-packaged parts (detects abnormally large receipts).

Alert #1009

ITEMS REMOVED FROM ROS

Don't let money slip through the cracks.  This Alert can notify you when any of the following are removed from an RO: freight, sublet, miscellaneous, cores, locally purchased, special order, or regular parts. Set a minimum dollar value under which removed items are ignored. Tune your parameters to only (or never) consider certain labor types, customers, PPCs, parts numbers and more. Use this Alert to:

  • Detect when high dollar items are removed from ROs.
  • Detect when freight is removed from ROs.
  • Create a report of all warranty codes removed from todays ROs.
  • More!

Alert #1010

ORDERS WE CAN FILL FROM STOCK

This Alert can be useful for cash flow management AND customer satisfaction. First, the Alert shows you stock at other locations that can be transferred, and not reordered. Second, it shows you parts that were ordered for other customers, but are in-house still. In the right situations, you can 'borrow' the part(s) for your current need and either re-order or cancel the order for the original customer.

Alert #1011

Alert #9160

DATA EXTRACTOR

If you know what you're looking for, this Alert can give it to you.  Run simple or complex English statements, and output the results multiple ways.  One advantage to this Alert over a regular report is that it can be multi company (several stores' data in one file).  File extensions can be added so the data can be opened in other programs (Excel, etc.).  Results can also be FTP'd to your web server (ie. New and/or Used inventory can be updated on your web site in near real-time).
